FYI.

So my dad is letting me read one of his books called Haunted, by Chuck Palahnluk.
Its pretty good and theres some quotes to it that made me think.
You might want to skip this blog because it may bore you, im only doing this for my own entertainment.
but if by some weird chance you like this kinda blog, I recomend the book. But be careful, people are known to occasionly pass out from the intensity.
You'll never want to go swimming again.

"If you love something," says the Matchmaker, "set it free." Just don't be surprised if it comes back with herpes..."

"he called her a whore. The nerve of that guy..." God bless him."

"It's something that goes beyond life-after-death. What's in the box is proof that what we call life isn't Our world is a dream. Infinitely fake. A nightmare..."

"Another man wanted a hundred grand from a homeowner who left the garden house stretched across the backyard that tripped him, breaking his ankle, while he fled from the police in an otherwise totally unrelated case of rape. The crippled rapist, he wanted a fortune for his pain and suffering..."

"people need a monster they can believe in." A true and horrible enemy. A demon to define themselves against. Otherwise, it;s just us versus us.."

"With the angel of death going door to door, people stayed together. They quit bitching and behaved..."

"If she could hear, if she'd just listen, I'd tell her it's okay to kill me. I'd even tell her how..."

"You fake any symtom long enough, and you'll start to hurt for real..."

"The bib, that layer of blood on her chest, that fur of flies, at the hospital emergency room the doctors swabbed it with alcohol and found a game of tic-tac-toe carved in the skin above her breasts. The X player had won..."

""She'd made her image, she told the studio heads. And she could damn well break it,""

"We love drama. We love conflict. We need a devil or we'll create one..."

"You'd be amazed how many of the killers come back to say goodbye. They've shared something, the killer and the victim, and the killer will come to sit at the grave and talk about old times. Everyone needs an audience..."

"The truth is so easy when everyone agrees who to blame..."

That was an interesting book. Chuck's Survivor is my favorite so far. And this is easily my favorite quote from Haunted:

"Our all-powerful God got so scared He scattered the human race across the face of the earth, and shattered their language to keep his children apart..."
